Tohatchi High School will host its annual Invitational Cross Country Meet on Friday, August 28, 2026
📍 **Location:** Hamburger Hill on top of the Mesa near Ch’ooshgai Lake, approximately one mile north of Tohatchi High School.
🚗 **Parking Information:**
Vans and buses may park at the north end of the starting area.
Spectator parking will be available on top of the Mesa **before 3:00 PM**. After 3:00 PM, spectators will need to park at the bottom of the Mesa for safety.

Are you entering your **junior or senior year in 2026–2027** and interested in **leadership, community service, and environmental stewardship**? Consider applying to become a **Young Ambassador!** 🌱🤝
Selected Young Ambassadors will:
* Organize community cleanup and beautification projects
* Receive training and mentoring in **project management and community leadership**
* Collaborate with other students on a **statewide leadership and engagement project**
* Receive a **$3,000 participation stipend** upon successful completion of the fellowship and projects
📅 **Application Deadline: TODAY, August 21, 2026**
Students apply directly to the program. The application requires a **resume** and a **letter of reference** from a staff member involved in a community organization or school activity who is familiar with the student's participation.
If you're interested, make sure to complete your application and secure your reference letter as soon as possible!

Competing against five outstanding contestants from across the Navajo Nation, Nevaeh showcased her talent, knowledge, and creativity in six traditional and contemporary competition categories. Her hard work and dedication paid off as she was crowned Miss Navajo Arts & Crafts Enterprise 2026–2027!
We are incredibly proud of Nevaeh for representing Tohatchi High School and the communities of District 14 with excellence, grace, and pride.
Congratulations, Nevaeh! Your Tohatchi High family is celebrating this well-deserved achievement and wishes you continued success as you serve as Miss Navajo Arts & Crafts Enterprise 2026–2027.
